博古架的出现

境和气氛。清代中期绘画及版画中常有描绘，清初以前资料未见。据史料记载：北宋大观年间，宋徽宗命王黼等编绘宣和殿所藏古器，名日《宣和博古图》，计三十卷。随着思想观念的发展演变，至清代雍正时期，凡前代古器均被视为祥瑞名物，遂将其视为祥瑞之物，用其装饰家具。据此推断，博古架是清代雍正至乾隆时期出现的新品种。

博古架的特点就是架子上有格子，它的划分是用一种不对称而又均衡的构图手法，格板自由勾搭，有的甚至悬空挑出，板端上卷做成回纹或其他纹样的装饰，形成大小不一，形状各异的空格，非常漂亮。在格子里可以摆放各种古玩小品，产生丰富的色彩层次感。博古架的大小比较随意，小可至一二尺，也可一连几开间大，多采用深色木料，与室内白色墙壁形成对比，显得稳贵而高雅。博古架与室内其他家具组合得体，意趣横生，形成富贵、典雅、优美、雅致的室内空间环境。

Often and often the puma had laid traps for the monkey, which he felt sure his foe could not escape; and the monkey would pretend that he saw nothing, and rejoice the hidden puma's heart by seeming to walk straight into the snare23, when, lo! a loud laugh would be heard, and the monkey's grinning face would peer out of a mass of creepers and disappear before his foe could reach him.'Very well, my lord,' said the old woman, 'I will set off at once for the bridge.' And wrapping her veil round her she went out.This command did not at all please the old woman, though, of course, she made no objections to the sultan.
