博古架的出现

境和气氛。清代中期绘画及版画中常有描绘，清初以前资料未见。据史料记载：北宋大观年间，宋徽宗命王黼等编绘宣和殿所藏古器，名日《宣和博古图》，计三十卷。随着思想观念的发展演变，至清代雍正时期，凡前代古器均被视为祥瑞名物，遂将其视为祥瑞之物，用其装饰家具。据此推断，博古架是清代雍正至乾隆时期出现的新品种。

博古架的特点就是架子上有格子，它的划分是用一种不对称而又均衡的构图手法，格板自由勾搭，有的甚至悬空挑出，板端上卷做成回纹或其他纹样的装饰，形成大小不一，形状各异的空格，非常漂亮。在格子里可以摆放各种古玩小品，产生丰富的色彩层次感。博古架的大小比较随意，小可至一二尺，也可一连几开间大，多采用深色木料，与室内白色墙壁形成对比，显得稳贵而高雅。博古架与室内其他家具组合得体，意趣横生，形成富贵、典雅、优美、雅致的室内空间环境。
